Allen H. Stewart Lions Camp
Eleven miles south of Casper, Wyoming, near the top of Casper Mountain, you’ll find the Allen H. Stewart Lions Camp.
Situated on fourteen acres, the camp is home to seven buildings, including a dining hall with a commercial kitchen, an activity center, classroom buildings, a building that can double as a wedding chapel, and three dormitories.
We also have a large picnic shelter, and plenty of room for outdoor games and activities.
The camp is open for group rentals from June 15 until October 1 each year. Our guests consist of both youth and adult-centered groups. In the past we’ve hosted such events as the week-long Camp Hope, which is a camp for children with diabetes, and the two-day long Kiwanis International’s Key Leader program.
In addition, we also offer overnight camping facilities for the traveler.

About Us
The Allen H. Stewart Lions Camp is rife with history – with several of its buildings having historical significance.
The camp was founded in 1925 by the Lions Club of Casper as the Lions Recuperation Camp.
At that time it was a day camp specifically for undernourished children, located on the Kimball Ranch on Elk Horn Creek. The children participated in outdoor activities and received meals.
Thirty to forty children attended each day. Most children who attended gained weight and were in better health after a summer spent at the camp.
